  'Media has become omnipresent in the present era that it has become a crucial component of our daily life.' Reflecting on the same, Dhairya Gupta (Class XI), through her blog, 'Power of Media during Lockdown', expressed her views on the proficiency of media in providing rightful content and its ills in making it wrong. Her efforts were duly appreciated as she bagged the third position in an Inter-School Competition, 'ION 2020' for her impressive content.

  Astronomy is an outstanding scientific subject that has inspired us for thousands of years. Arush Sachdeva (Class XII) resolved to learn more about this interesting subject and participated in the 'International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition 2020' to unleash his creativity in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics. We take pleasure in announcing that Arush Sachdeva was presented the Bronze Honour for his participation in the final round of the competition, and has been placed amongst the top 20% of all the participants across the globe

  Value Education has always been a hallmark of Hansraj Model School Punjabi Bagh. With the mission and vision of the school woven around this theme, our children are bought up as ‘human beings with humane values.’ Our student Radhya Gupta (Class VIII), has helped us achieve this goal. In the 'Value Education Olympiad 2020', she has been declared the first rank holder at the national level, amongst 13,500 students.

  During this lockdown, we have seen people who were not able to gain any medical assistance since they were afraid of visiting any medical centre and catching corona virus. To solve such problems Pranav Arora and Sahil Pahwa, students of Class XII, thought of an idea of a complete health information management application that could not only help managing the patients during COVID, but could also help in reducing the price and risk of getting medical assistance at any clinic. The students developed their project 'S.A.R.T.H.I' under the flagship of 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' and 'Make in India' initiatives launched by the Government of India, and used the Python language and MySQL to store data.

  The fraternity of Hansraj Model School congratulates Parishi Batra (Class VII ) for securing First Position in the 'Online Open Poster Competition' organized by Sewa Sankalp Organization, to mark the World Environment Day. This National Level Competition aimed at raising awareness for the environment, wherein children from across the country participated enthusiastically and showcased their creative acumen by thinking out of the box and throwing their thoughts on paper with brilliant colours.

  In the Bohemia 3.0 Inter-School Competition, Sourabh Bhandari of Class X represented the school in the 'Portrait Making' and won second prize for his artistic expressions.
