Hansraj Model School, Punjabi Bagh, got the privilege to participate in the 16th FILMIT India Festival, a collaborative effort by Heritage Education and Communication Services (HECS), INTACH, held at India International Centre, New Delhi. Under the guidance of our School Principal, Ms. Heemal Handoo Bhat, our budding filmmakers won two awards for their creative flair. The documentary ‘Uncelebrated Beings- Animals and Birds' won the ‘Best Documentary Award’, and ‘Mudra’ won the ‘Unique Story Award’. The students received the awards from Ms. Purnima Dutt, Principal Director, INTACH, duly accompanied by Ms. Rintu Thomas, a Documentary Filmmaker, Ms. Bhadra Sinha, a Bharatnatyam Dancer, and Dr. Parul Munjal, Director, INTACH Heritage Academy.

 Students of Hansraj Model School achieved remarkable success at the inter-school competition, Yugen held at NC Jindal Public School, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi  In the event "Technolites - Bridge," Ayush Gujela of Class X secured the second prize with his impressive skills. Shreshth Singh and Kapis Garg of Class X won the third prize in the "Technolites - Arena" event, demonstrating teamwork and technical expertise. In the "Voice of Change" event, Tanmay Goel and Tejasvi Kewalramani of Class XII earned the third prize with their powerful presentation. The students' achievements highlighted their talent and dedication, making the school immensely proud of their accomplishments.

Hansraj Model School has been selected to participate in the prestigious National Young Authors Fair for the academic year 2024-25. This event, recognized as one of the largest book writing competitions, aims to foster creativity by encouraging students to write and submit stories or books across various genres. The competition was held online through the official portal of BriBooks at www.bribooks.com, with entries accepted throughout October and the deadline being the last date of the month. The published e-books are now available on the BriBooks online bookstore.
